If you are a cyclist in South Lanarkshire or beyond you are most welcome to join the Royal Albert Cycling Club. We welcome people of any age or background. Whether you are new to cycling or very experienced, the Royal Albert looks forward to meeting you. We can help beginners to gain appropriate skills and to feel confident on the road. The quiet, hilly back roads will open up a new world for you, and it has to be said that you won’t have to cycle far in this district to get a good workout!
Our Club group runs will enhance your cycling, and you will be doing three things at once – keeping fit, socializing and travelling, which is not a claim that many sports can make. For the more competitive spirits among us, there is a whole world of exhilarating training runs and racing to be had, both in the local area and far beyond.
Doctors always tell us to improve our health and fitness – what better way to do it than to sit on a bike and enjoy the countryside?!
